Cllr Frank O’Rourke beside the newly installed pedestrian crossing on the Hazelhatch Road in Celbridge at the entrance to St. Patrick’s School and the G.A.A. “I’m delighted to have been able to work on behalf of all to ensure the delivery of this much needed Pedestrian crossing. I met with the parents in May 2011 and they outlined their concern for the safety of the children that had to cross this very busy road to attend the school. The parents were looking for a crossing for the previous four years but to no avail”. “I took up this issue on there behalf and it is great to see that the necessary safety infrastructure is now in place to ensure that the children and adults can now cross the road to attend the school or G.A.A. This is a project that will benefit all and I am pleased to have been involved in delivering it for the safety of all”.
