Local Fianna Fail TD, Frank O’Rourke, has received confirmation from Kildare Co Co that a study in relation to the provision of Bus Shelters on Route 139 is now well advanced.

“I have made representations to have a comprehensive review and investment on and in the Bus Shelter network in North Kildare. Specifically on Route 139, a route that I campaigned for, needs Bus Shelters.”

“I have now received confirmation that Kildare Co Co and the NTA are working with their service providers with respect to the provision of Bus Stops and Bus Shelters on Route 139.”

“I have also made representations to have the number of services on Route 139 increased further. Route 120 and Route 115 serving Clane and Straffan and Kilcock respectively need more frequent services, given the increased demand.” Concluded Deputy O’Rourke.
