Working for the people of Kildare North
As a first time TD, I have worked tirelessly since my election to Dáil Eireann in 2016 to consistently deliver for the people of Kildare North. Originally from Co Leitrim, I made Celbridge my home over 20 years ago, and I have worked in both the public and private sector. Having had an interest in politics from a young age, I was first co-opted onto Kildare County Council in 2011. I retained my seat in the 2014 Local Elections, topping the poll in the Celbridge-Leixlip LEA, and went on to successfully contest the General Election two years later.
I have a proven track record on both local and national issues. I make regular contributions in Dáil Éireann and in committees, and working with other stakeholders, I has delivered for the constituency on a wide range of issues.
I am currently the Fianna Fáil Junior Spokesperson on Financial Services, eGovernment & Procurement, and my Public Services and Procurement (Social Value) Bill 2017, along with my Housing (Adaptation Grant for People with a Disability) Bill 2018, are currently at committee stage in the Dáil.
Thanks also to the unbelievable efforts of party members, supporters, family and friends in the election campaign to help achieve such a great result.
